In the studio
My architecture career began on-sites as an apprentice builder straight out of school which led me through a vocational work-based education concluding with a Master’s degree in Architecture in 2022 from The University of Salford
I have a strong background in technical design working with modular construction and small to medium scale residential projects. I like being thrown into the deep end at work and in life and consider myself as a quick learner eager to iteratively better concepts through to planning through to technical design and coordination, which then ultimately provides clients with the best possible outcome on site.
One amazing fact that we didn’t know about
During my time as an apprentice builder then design engineer, I travelled around most of Europe on a weekend-by-weekend bases with my mates. During that time, I jumped off Mostar Bridge into the Neretva River in Bosnia (a red bull extreme sports diving location).
Outside the studio
I have a passion for all things sports, football, boxing, darts, and cricket to name a few and have the (un)fortunate privilege of being a Blackburn Rovers fan - someone has to be! I try to travel as much as possible, you can read my journal on my sake and ramen filled trip to Japan here https://www.astudio.co.uk/journal/2023/9/22/japan . Outside of the office you will find me enjoying a Guinness in one of London’s many pubs, at a disco music event, or back home up north walking up Darwen Tower.
