Desborough Road

To help address the existing housing and refugee crisis, the temporary accommodation scheme at Desborough Road has provided 58 high-quality homes for those in urgent need, such as refugees or families who have become homeless.

Arranged around a central courtyard, the communal space encourages tenants to meet, interact and develop a vital sense of community.

The homes were manufactured and fully fitted out in a factory by Premier Modular. The use of off-site construction brings speed, quality, and efficiency to the delivery.

Minimal onsite activity reduced the impact on the neighbouring community, while ensuring greater control over the quality of the finished product. Our ‘fabric first’ construction approach further minimises energy consumption and reduces maintenance needs throughout the lifespan of the homes.
